Drive transformation with open innovation
Looking to improve a product, develop a new offering or streamline your internal processes? The Innovation Lab can help you drive transformation and tackle your strategic challenges with support from student intrapreneurs.
How does it work?
Over 16 weeks, work with a team of Master's students to test your ideas and turn them into concrete solutions. Guided by the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship – Pépite Etena and its network of mentors, the students take an entrepreneurial approach to solving your problem, testing ideas with users and gathering data in the field to help find potential solutions.
Examples of innovation projects
- Digital transformation
- Product or service development
- Change management
- Sustainable development and social responsibility

A network of experimental laboratories
The University of Strasbourg has created a network of experimental laboratories to meet the technological needs of entrepreneurs and businesses, helping them develop projects that span different scientific and technical fields.
The university's FabLab network gives project leaders, including students, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises, acces to coworking spaces and laboratories where they can develop proofs of concept and prototypes. The FabLab network brings together a wide range of technical expertise in experimental sciences, including biotechnology, chemistry and geoscience, as well as engineering sciences such as electronics, mechanics, robotics and digital technologies.
Are you a student at the University of Strasbourg? Access the FabLab network and get support from the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to develop your ideas and bring technological innovations to life in the region.
Are you a start-up or a small or medium-sized enterprise? Access the FabLab network’s laboratories and work with qualified students (under the supervision of a university lecturer) on a research and development study that addresses a specific challenge. Benefit from cutting-edge equipment and technical expertise at competitive rates, while helping students develop their professional skills.
